About The Shop

Established in 1986 to service the needs of vehicle owners in the south down area Mackins Accident Repair Centre was set up by its current owners the Mackin family. Initially a one man operation the business focused on high quality repairs and customer satisfaction which is still to this day the businesses main goals!

It is this which has allowed us to grow significantly and we were recently awarded 2019 NI Bodyshop of the Year – we followed this up again this year retaining our NI Bodyshop title and winning National Bodyshop of the year at the 2020 Irish Auto Trade Awards.

These awards are a testament to our ongoing commitment to our customers and service providers. We have also gained accreditation from the British Standards Institute and achieved the coveted BS10125:2014+A1:2016 Kitemark which specifies the best approach to conducting consistently safe, high quality repairs to accident damaged vehicles.

This accreditation alongside our ATA trained technicians and stringent quality controls ensures that when your vehicle comes to us for repairs it leaves safe and repaired to the highest standard. We refuse to compromise on quality. We work in partnership with a number of industry leading insurers and accident management companies and offer a full and comprehensive accident repair service.
